NOTICE: Virus Alert

It has come to our attention that someone somewhere is propagating bogus Email messages purporting to come from @maxwideman.com, sometimes with an attachment. Please note that we do not send Emails from any address that includes @maxwideman.com. So if you receive such an Email at least it is spam from some unknown origin and at worst contains a virus. We recommend that you do not open such Emails but delete them immediately. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to stop this activity.

July 2006 - This month we present a valuable Guest paper by Colin Bentley, Chief Examiner and major author for the UK's PRINCE2 methodology. In his paper he draws a detailed comparison between PRINCE2 (2005) and PMBOK ® Guide (2004) by the Project Management Institute. In our Musings we explain why the two documents are not directly comparable and highlight some of the differences between the two approaches to managing projects.

We've also added a new section to the Site Map: Book Reviews and Case Studies that segregates these particular articles for convenience of our site users.
