The International Project Management Association (IPMA) has announced the final plans for major activities and events for the 21st Global Congress on Project Management, scheduled to occur in Cracow, Poland during June 18-20, 2007, as follows:
International Project Excellence AwardsThe IPMA annually presents International Project Excellence Award to project management teams that achieve, and can prove, great feats in project management. This year’s awards will be presented in Cracow with ceremony and fanfare to deserving teams.
Project Excellence Award PolskaFollowing IPMA members - national Project Management associations in Germany and Austria, for the first time Polish PM association - SPMP - organizes the Polish national award: Project Excellence Award Polska.
Keynote SpeechesSpecial Guest: President Lech Wałęsa, Legendary Leader of Solidarity Trade Union, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 1983, President of Poland 1990-1995, Other featured guest speakers will include leading experts in project management: Prof. Roland Gareis (Austria), Dr Ing Juergen Schloss (Germany), Mr Antii Heinonen (Finland), Prof. Rodney Turner (UK), Prof. Peter Morris (UK).
