Preliminary Invitation to Authors for May 2008 International Earned Value Management Conference in Florida
The College of Performance Management (CPM) of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) (www.pmi-cpm.org) is interested in locating applications of Earned Value Management (EVM) in non-government, non-aerospace/defense industries. The use of EVM in non-traditional areas will be a focus area of the CPM's EVM World 2008 conference to be held in Clearwater Beach, Florida, USA in May 2008.

Speakers from these organizations or projects may be invited to speak about their use and deployment of EVM. For example, new product development, internal IT projects, construction, public infrastructure, etc. A formal call for papers will be forthcoming and will be sent to interested potential speakers. Formal papers will not be required.

Interested companies and individuals may register their interest or request additional information via e-mail at evmspeaker@mgmt-technologies.com.

The International EVM Conference sponsored by PMI’s CPM will be held May 14-16, 2008 in Clearwater Beach, Florida, USA at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort, 400 Mandalay Avenue, Clearwater Beach, Florida 33767 USA (Tel: +1-727-461-3222).
