Latest Announcements from IPMA World Congress in Rome
The IPMA 22nd World Congress on Project Management will be held in Rome, Italy during 9-11 November 2008. According to the “ROMA 2008 – Project Management to Run" project team, the latest news includes the following:
Reminder: project-based organizations and suppliers of project and program management products, services and technology are invited to participate in the Project Management Exhibition that will accompany the 22nd IPMA World Congress in November. The 22nd IPMA World Congress and Exhibition will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi near the heart of downtown Rome.
Exhibitors will have opportunities to showcase their products and services to over 1,000 delegates from more than 80 countries. Several thousand more are expected to visit the trade exhibition. Covering more than 4,000 sqm of space, the Exhibition will be the most important event of the year for those shopping for project management products or resources. The Exhibition will include an Information and Communication Technologies Exhibition, Banking and Financial Services Area, Engineering and Construction Centre, Architecture and Design Arena, Media Village, and Books Shops
The 22nd IPMA World Congress also provides an opportunity for sponsors who wish to present themselves to an audience of global experts and leaders in the fields of industrial plant, energy and infrastructure works as well as in the fields of financing, information and communications technology, organization development, research, health and consulting. Project management leaders from across Europe and around the world will be there, as well as many participants from Mediterranean countries. - By request of some authors, and approved by the IPMA Roma 2008 Organizing Committee, the abstract submission deadline for the 22nd IPMA Congress in Rome has been postponed to March 15th, 2008. More information can be found at www.ipmaroma2008.it. Potential authors are invited to submit abstracts for a paper presentation in November.
- Early registration. Deadline (with reduced fee) is May 31st. For registration before Feb. 29th, additional benefits are offered (see Announcement).
