The PMI Dallas Chapter will hold its annual Professional Development Day (PDD) on Saturday, 12 April 2008 at the Crowne Plaza North Dallas/Addison Hotel in Addison, Texas, USA. The annual PDD, scheduled for 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., is one of the PMI Dallas Chapter’s largest and most popular events, normally attracting around 300 participants.
The event, for which attendees will receive eight professional Development units (PDUs) for PMP recertification, will include three keynote speeches and breakout sessions of presentations on leading project management topics. The morning keynote speech will be by
Chuck Tryon on “What’s So MODERN About PROJECT MANAGEMENT?”
Breakout Session Tracks:
- The Power of PM Tools
- The Power of Project Management Skills
- The Power of Leadership Skills
- The Strategic Power of Project Management
According to
Dwaraka Iyengar (pictured), PMI Dallas Chapter President, “This is our second annual PDD, and again, it is one of the largest project management events in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Last year we had Roger Staubach as a keynote speaker. This year we have Chuck Tryon who is also an outstanding speaker and project management thought leader. Not only does the event provide excellent value for attendees, it also allows them to network with fellow professionals from across the Southwest. We're really looking forward to sharing the 'The Power of Project Management' with everyone!.”
