Early Registration Opens with Discounts for August UT Dallas Project Management Symposium
Early registration has opened for The 2nd Annual UT Dallas Project Management Symposium to be held 18-19 August 2008 at The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas, USA. The 2 Day PM Symposium, "Leveraging Project Management for Business Success!", will focus on topics important to organizations and industries in North Texas, including agile project management, IT project management, new product development, program management, PM governance, global PM, emerging trends, and other topics.

The Conference will include an Opening Ceremony featuring keynote speeches by Dr. David Daniel, UT Dallas President (pictured at right), and George Consolver,Strategy Manager for Texas Instruments.

The conference will also include keynote speeches on Tuesday by Michael Kennedy (former TI executive and author of Product Development for the Lean Enterprise), Ricardo Vargas (PMI Director from Brazil) and Veikko Valila (President of IPMA, coming from Finland); over 40 professional paper presentations; three panel discussions; a Monday evening networking reception; meals and networking opportunities in the vendor exhibition areas. Attendees will receive up to 14 professional development units (PDUs) for PMP recertification, making these some of the least expensive PDUs in the world this year.

The Symposium will be held on The UT Dallas Campus, in the School of Management,a state of the art facility with audio visual and multi-media technologies in each room. Early registration fee is $300; after July 18 registration will jump to $400. Group discounts are also available.
