PMI Panama Chapter has selected PMForum as "media partner" for the 1st Annual PMI Panama Project Management Conference which will be held in Panama City, Panama on 2 October 2008. This major project management event is subtitled "
The Land Divided - The Project World United" and will showcase the Panama Canal Expansion program, one of the largest infrastructure projects in the world.
Engineers,IT professionals, project managers and executives are invited to Panama for this major event, which will feature two major tracks: Construction Project Management & Technology Project Management (IT, product development, communications). The all-day symposium, which will feature presentations, panel discussions, break-out sessions, focused workshops and networking opportunities, will be bilingual with translation available (Spanish or English). The symposium venue will be the Panama Canal Authority Auditorium and facilities. Local sponsors include the Panama Canal Authority and CH2M Hill, prime management contractor for the expansion. Participants will have an opportunity to tour the canal and meet the program manager.
