PMForum Named Media Partner for PMI Honolulu Chapter + Lavacon Professional Development Summit 2008
PMForum has been named a "Media Partner" for The Project Management Institute (PMI) Honolulu Chapter’s Professional Development Summit to be held 6-8 November 2008 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The conference is being co-organized and co-hosted by LavaCon®. The PDS’08 conference will present proven best practices in the fields of project management and technical communications as well as innovative techniques for meeting challenges that professionals face in today’s world. The conference will be held at the Marriott Honolulu Waikiki hotel.

The conference is for professionals who want continuing education on how to manage projects, stay current on the latest management and communication tools and technology, and develop "soft skills" in areas such as leadership, conflict management, contract and workplace negotiation skills, etc. Some of the activities and benefits planned include:
