Global Survey on PMP Exam Prep Experiences underway in Middle East

Project management professionals worldwide are invited to participate in a research study about training and preparation for the PMP® Exam & CAPM® Exam and also the exam experience.

This study started out in Dubai but was expanded to include the PM community in the Arabian Gulf region. The survey has now been opened up to other countries and regions in order to determine if there are differences in the training, preparation, or exam experience from country to country or region to region.

This survey is for all those who have taken PMP / CAPM training and possibly taken the exam, and all PMP & CAPM certificate holders. Training providers are also invited to participate. The findings will be presented at an event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on 30 October 2008 so participation by the 20th of October is requested. The results will also be published on SUKAD websites and participants can receive copies if requested.

Mounir A. Ajam, MS, PMP, is an International Correspondent for PMForum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He is also chief executive officer of SUKAD FZ-LLC, an Innovation Centre based in Dubai Knowledge Village and with services provided across the Middle East. Mr. Ajam is a PM expert with 20 years of experience in the engineering, construction, oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and on both large and small projects in various locations in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, UK and USA. Mr. Ajam has an MS in Engineering & Construction Management from the University of California at Berkeley (USA) and a BS (honors) in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston (USA). He received his PMP® certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) in 1998 and graduated from PMI’s Leadership Institute Masters Class in 2007.
