The North America West Coast Infrastructure Partnership conference will showcase opportunities for private sector organizations to get involved in public infrastructure projects across the Western USA, Canada and Mexico. It will also be an opportunity to meet some of the major participants, including builders, owners representatives and global financing organizations. The conference related to financing and developing Public Private Partnerships (P3) for major infrastructure projects will be held during 14-15 October 2008 at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles, California, USA.
California and Oregon are leading the way among Western States in the development of P3 models to deliver public funding and private finance to upgrade both social and hard infrastructure. From the Columbia River Crossing to the Oakland Port project, rust belt USA is transforming under partnerships. With the British Columbia Canada projects and Mexico border projects too, West Coast North America is now a region of choice for global project finance.
The event will showcase major public infrastructure projects in British Columbia, California, Oregon, Washington State and Mexico. Topics to be discussed include project financing, procurement, public private partnering opportunities and general market conditions for these large projects. With trillions of dollars in infrastructure investment planned in western North America over the next two decades, some of the largest organizations in the major projects construction, engineering, finance, and management fields are expected to participate.

The 1.5 day conference will be held at the Los Angeles Four Seasons hotel. Organizers are PFI conferences, a division of Thomson Reuters. The conference will highlight current and ongoing opportunities for funding organizations, sponsors, contractors and project advisors. A major networking opportunity and the only regional conference of its kind this year, the PFI West Coast Infrastructure conference will be an important event for global and regional partnership professionals and organizations.
