The Lille School of Management Research Center in Lille, France has
announced the main faculty for their "
9th International Workshop on
Project & Programme Management" and "
4th Internal Research Seminar
in Project & Programme Management" in August 2009. The workshop and
seminar will be held in conjunction with a "
Special EDEN Doctoral
Seminar on Perspectives on Projects" the European Institute for
Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) has announced that. These events
will be held during August 17-21, 2009 at the ESC Lille campus in
Lille, France, the major metropolis in the North of France, near the
Belgium border and between Paris and London.

International Workshop in Project & Programme Management and the
Special EDEN Doctoral Seminar - Perspectives on Projects: Project
Attributes - will include:
- Prof. Christophe N. Bredillet
- Professor of Strategic Programme and Project Management and Dean of
Postgraduate Programmes and Research at the ESC Lille School of
Management, Lille, France.
- Prof. Rodney Turner
(pictured) - Professor of Project Management at the ESC Lille School of
Management, and the Kemmy Business School of the University of
Limerick, Ireland. He is also Adjunct Professor at the University of
Technology, Sydney (Australia), and Visiting Professor at the Henley
Management College (UK).
- Dr. Phillipe Ruiz
- Associate Professor of Statistics and Research Methods as well as
Co-Director of the PhD Programme at the ESC Lille School of Management
in Lille, France.
- Prof. Ralf Muller
- Associate Professor at Umea University in Sweden and Adjunct
Professor at the ESC Lille School of Management in France, as well as
visiting faculty member at Tillburg University, The Netherlands.
- Dr. Martina Huemann
- Faculty member at the Vienna University of Economics and Business
Administration in Vienna, Austria, and Adjunct Professor of Project
Management at the ESC Lille School of Management, in Lille, France.

- Faculty Member and past Director of the Project Management Program at
The George Washington University in Washingon, DC, USA and Visiting
Professor at the Lille School of Management, Lille, France.
- Prof. Lynn Crawford
(pictured) - Professor of Project Management at the ESC Lille School of
Management in France and at Bond University in Brisbane, Australia.
A
major aspect of the seminar and workshop this year will be the
introduction to and discussion of a system of classification of
Projects developed by Professors Lynn Crawford, Brian Hobbs and Rodney
Turner. Professors Crawford and Turner will explore different paradigms
appropriate for different types of projects, with an aim to develop an
overarching theory of project management for framing research, studies
and applications in this area.

International Workshop in Project & Programme Management is by
invitation only. The August 2009 Doctoral Seminar being held at ESC
Lille School of Management has a participation fee of 1500 €, which
includes participation in the seminar, all documents, lodging and a
