has been announced as a keynote presenter at the 23
rd IPMA World
Congress in Helsinki, Finland. Dr. Schloss delivers his keynote
presentation Project Management in a Global Business Environment in the
morning of 17.6.2009, the third congress day.
Dr.
Schloss, 58, studied electrical engineering at the University of
Erlangen. After 5 years of research in the University, he started his
career in the aerospace industry and focused on sensor electronics and
international project management. In 1991 he joined Siemens and was
responsible for the industrial computer system division and later for
marketing & development of the high performance PLC'S, SIMATIC. He
then changed to the Power Transmission and Distribution Group and was
nominated Group Vice President in 1999. Dr. Schloss is currently the
Program Director at PM@Siemens, the Siemens worldwide PM improvement
