Vernon Ireland,
Director of Project Management,
The University of Adelaide, Australia,
has been announced as a main speaker at the 23rd IPMA World Congress in
Helsinki, Finland. Professor Ireland delivers his presentation
Identifying and managing uncertainty and emergence in congress stream

Professor
Ireland is Director of Project Management at The University of
Adelaide. Professor Ireland was formerly the CEO and Head of School for
the Australian Graduate School of Innovation Engineering in Sydney. He
holds a PhD in Project Management and has over twenty years experience
in project management, consulting, practice and education.
In
the past Professor Ireland was the Corporate Development Director of
Fletcher Challenge Construction, and was responsible for people and
business systems improvement in the USA, NZ, Australia and Asia. He was
Dean of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building at UTS, and
has held numerous senior government positions throughout his career. He
has had over fifty papers published in his name. Professor Ireland also
manages the Masters Degree in Project Management and researches and
teaches complex project management at
