Olga Perminova receives IPMA Young Research Honor award at the 23rd IPMA World Congress in Helsinki, Finland

Mrs Olga Perminova has been honored with the IPMA Young Research Honor award at the 23rd IPMA World Congress in Helsinki, Finland. Mrs Perminova received the award based on her achievements in project management research. Mrs Perminova accepted the award on 16.6.2009, and delivered her presentation Risk, opportunity and uncertainty management practices at the warranty phase of industrial projects at the congress research seminar on 17.6.2009.

Mrs Perminova commented on the IPMA Young Research Honor award: I am grateful for the award; it is very inspiring to receive such an honor. It encourages me to further continue with the challenging and unique research on how uncertainty is managed in industrial projects. Mrs Perminova is currently PhD student with a major in Industrial Management and minor in Private Law at the Åbo Akademi University, Faculty of Technology, Department of Industrial Management. She is a researcher at PBI - Research Institute for Project Based Industry (Turku, Finland) and a Post-graduate student at St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Insurance.

Mrs Perminova's research interests include international economic relations, project management, risk management, strategic management, insurance, organization studies, private law and contract law.

Mrs Perminova holds a degree in World Economy and International Economic Relations from the St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Economics, Department of World Economy, from 2002.

The theme for the 23rd IPMA World Congress on Project Management in Helsinki is "Refresh Yourself".
