Reported by Ana Maria Rodríguez with the cooperation of Andres Sananes The PMI South Cone Tour will stop at Mendoza (Argentina) on November 7, 2009. The National University of Cuyo will be the place for the event.
Different PMI authorities have confirmed attendance to the PMI South Cone Tour Mendoza. Besides the authorities nominated on previous breaking news, the following ones will also attend:
- Betsy Reden (PMI USA)
- Víctor Villar (Counselor of the PMI for South America)
- Enrique Capella (Counselor of the PMI for Central America)
We are now closer to the event, less than 3 weeks ago. 200 people have already register for it, therefore organizers have decided to close registrations on October 31th.
Ten speakers will present their experiences at this valuable opportunity for attending a PMI event in the Mendoza region. According to organizers, "every day we face different problems and situations in project that requires effective and proper decisions. We are sure that training on Project Management will offer attendees a different look to those problems, saving to them time and enery and why not, cost in their projects"
Mendoza is the capital of Mendoza Province in the north western part of Argentina, in a region of foothills and high plains, on the eastern side of the Andes. The metropolitan population is approximately 850,000, the fourth largest in the country. Mendoza is a frequent stopover for climbers on their way to Mount Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere) in the Andes. One of the largest industries in Mendoza is wine making.
