The fifth Project Management Conference (PM-05) in Greece, now
scheduled for 29-31 May 2010 in Greece, has announced their Call for
Papers. The 2010 conference will be at the Moevenpick Resort &
Thalasso Hotel in Heraklion on the historic island of Crete. The theme
of
PM-05: Advancing Project Management for the 21st Century is
"Concepts, Tools & Techniques for Managing Successful Projects."According
to the conference announcement, "a solid tradition of international
Scientific Conferences on Project Management (SCPM) has been
established through the past years in Greece. Athens, Thessaloniki and
the island of Chios have had the opportunity to host the preceding
SCPMs in the years 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2008. The PM-05 Conference aims
to further synergy for closer cooperation, business relations and
know-how exchange in project management in the international context.
PM-05 will be organized along scientific and professional streams in
order to promote both research and business outcomes."

posters dealing with programme and project management themes of

An
International Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts
and full papers. Accepted papers will be published in the ISBN numbered
proceedings. Selected papers from the Conference will be published in
Special Issues of Professional and Scientific Journals.

Crete
is the largest island in Greece. In addition to being the home of the
first European civilisation - the Minoan civilization dating 5000 years
ago, the island offers mountains and sandy beaches which belong among
the finest in the world. Crete has a mild Mediterranean climate and the
conference participants will have the opportunity to taste one of the
oldest and most tasty gastronomic traditions in the world and to enjoy
the famous Cretan hospitality.
