Reported by Philip Smelt in UK Dr Peter Parkes, Director with the Association for Project Management (APM) and Chairman for the London Branch, has announced that he is taking a sabbatical and will be traveling through Singapore, across Australia, and back via Manila and Hong Kong over the next few months.
Peter Parkes (pictured at right) is an applied project manager, having held programme director roles in the private sector, public sector, Public Private Partnerships, and 'Big 4' consultancies. He is a regular writer, and is co-author of the APM's guides on Project Governance, governance of partnership projects, and most recently on governance aspects of project sponsorship. He is also a founding member of the specific interest group on Assurance.
