Former Microsoft Executive to Keynote PMI Global Congress Asia Pacific in Melbourne in February
The Project Management Institute (PMI®) has announced that Scott Berkun, former Miscrosoft Program Management and author of two popular books on project management, will be the keynote speaker at the PMI® Global Congress Asia Pacific 2010 being held in Melbourne, Australia during 22-24 February 2010. The PMI® Global Congress Asia Pacific 2010 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Keynote speaker Scott Berkun (pictured) is the best selling author of "The Myths of Innovation" and "Making Things Happen". Mr. Berkun formerly worked as a program manager at Microsoft, and was involved in the development of Internet Explorer 1.0 to 5.0.

Scott poses the question, "What can project managers learn from great innovations, and what great innovators, notorious for betting big on intuition alone, learn from professional project managers?" His fun, high energy talk will explore these tough questions and more, offering inspiring ideas by going beyond the myths of management and creative thinking.

The conference will include other high level speakers, professional presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Project management professionals and executives of project-oriented organizations are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn, network, meet PMI leaders, and advance their organizations' interests at this global event.
