PMForum named Media Partner for May 2010 PM-05 Project Management Conference in Crete
The Network for Project Managers in Greece (PM-Greece) has announced that PMForum has been named Media Partner for PM-05: Advancing Project Management for the 21st Century is "Concepts, Tools & Techniques for Managing Successful Projects." The fifth Project Management Conference (PM-05) in Greece promoting communication between international multi-disciplinary teams in the field of project management and related disciplines will be held during 29-31 May 2010 at the Moevenpick Resort & Thalasso Hotel in Heraklion on the historic island of Crete.


According to the conference announcement, "The PM-05 Conference aims to further synergy for closer cooperation, business relations and know-how exchange in project management in the international context. PM-05 will be organized along scientific and professional streams in order to promote both research and business outcomes."

Project management stakeholders worldwide are invited to attend the conference and contribute with their knowledge and experience to the success of the event. The invitation is extended, but not limited to academics, researchers, industrialists, professionals, policy makers, assessors and certification & funding bodies concerned with projects and programmes in every economic sector.

The attendees will have an opportunity to present papers and attend sessions for discussions on such themes as:

According to Professor John-Paris Pantouvakis, conference chair for PM-05, "We are happy to have PMForum as a media partner again this year. Crete is the largest island in Greece. In addition to being the home of the first European civilisation - the Minoan civilization dating 5000 years ago - the island offers mountains and sandy beaches that are among the finest in the world. Crete has a mild Mediterranean climate and the conference participants will have the opportunity to taste one of the oldest and most tasty gastronomic traditions in the world and to enjoy the famous Cretan hospitality.

PM-05 is being organized by the Centre for Construction Innovation, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in cooperation with the Network of Project Managers in Greece (PM-Greece), the Scientific Association for the Advancement of Project Management in Greece.
