IPMA Seeks Assessors for International Project Excellence Award
The International Project Management Association (IPMA®) Awards Management Board is inviting experienced project managers and consultants to become Project Excellence Award Assessors. For those who might have an interest, a training session has been announced for 12-14 February 2010 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Take part in the training session and:
• get to know the IPMA® Project Excellence Model
• practise how to use the model and how to assess objectively projects on the basis of an original application
• have the opportunity to discuss and exchange views with well-experienced colleagues during the training
• develop the special capability to assess impartially the quality of a project and to make it comparable to others. This ability will be useful for your organisation and potentially for your customers
• become an IPMA® PE Award International Award Assessor!

The IPMA® International Project Excellence Award is awarded annucally to the most successful project teams in the world. The award identifies examples of excellent project management and acknowledges innovative projects. It supports professional project management in achieving high performance in projects and motivates project teams to identify and optimize the use of their strengths. The Award was presented for the first time at the IPMA® World Congress in Berlin in 2002 and will be presented at at the 24th IPMA World Congress in Istanbul in November 2010.
