Call for Papers remains open for 24th IPMA World Congress on Project Management in Istanbul
The organizing team for the 24th IPMA World Congress in Istanbul, Turkey wants to remind everyone that the "Call for Papers" is still open. In January, the addition of an online abstract submission option was announced, which can now be found on the World Congress website - at http://www.pleksus.com.tr/ipma2010/abstract/. Project management experts and leaders worldwide are again invited to submit proposals for professional papers and presentations for the 24th IPMA World Congress, which will be one of the biggest events in the project management world in 2010. The congress will be held during 1-3 November, 2010 at the Hilton İstanbul Hotel.

The theme for the 24th IPMA World Congress this year will be "Challenges & Opportunities." The 24th IPMA World Congress will incorporate research, development and practice, as well as case-oriented streams that identify the changes needed to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in today's world economy.

The 24th IPMA World Congress will be held at the Hilton İstanbul Hotel (pictured at left), located at Cumhuriyet Caddesi, Harbiye, İstanbul, Turkey. İstanbul has been chosen as the host city for the 2010 IPMA world congress because of its historical and cultural heritage, and also for its location. İstanbul is at the center of the economic and political area known as Eurasia, where three regions - Europe, the former Soviet Union and the Middle East - intersect.

The local host of the 24th IPMA World Congress on Project Management in İstanbul will be Project Management Association in Turkey (TrPMA), based in Ankara.
