Professor Le Yun invites presenters and participants to International Forum on Large & Complex Project Management

Professor Le Yun, Tongji University, kindly invites presenters and participants to International Forum on Large & Complex Project Management which will take place on April 15th … 18th 2010 in Shanghai, China. The theme of the event is Large & Complex Project Management Research and Practice in an Era of Globalization and Economic Fluctuations. The event is free of charge for presenters and participants. Presenters and participants are, however, expected to pay for travel and accommodation.

Professor Yun also invites topics for presentations by experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from industry and academia interested in sharing and discussing insights or recent results. The topic submission deadline is March 1st 2010.

Professor Yun, who is currently the Dean of the Department of Construction Management and Real Estate of Tongji University, and the Leader of General Project Management Team to Expo Shanghai China 2010, believes the International Forum on Large & Complex Project Management will be an excellent event for the international project management community: "The event will comprise, in addition to the main theme, several sub-themes covering a wide range of research areas in international large & complex project management such as networks, stakeholders and collaboration. The event targets to contribute to vision creation, knowledge advancement, and research co-operation in the field of international large & complex project management." The event takes place on April 15th … 18th2010, immediately prior to the opening of 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China. April 15th is scheduled for registration, and April 16th … 18th for the event proceedings. One of the three days will be devoted to a social program. A visit to the 2010 World Expo site will also be organized.

  • Emailing presentation title proposals (assuming you are planning to present) to Mr Ma Liang at maliang@expo2010.gov.cn latest on March 1st 2010
  • Emailing your participation registration, including name, affiliation and contact information to Mr Ma Liang at maliang@expo2010.gov.cn as soon as possible.
A detailed program will be released on March 15th 2010. The program will be emailed to the selected presenters and the registered event participants. For quick processing of visa applications for entering China, official invitations will be sent to registered event participants immediately subsequent to registration.

Åbo Akademi University is a Swedish language university in Turku, Finland (Åbo being the Swedish name for Turku). The university was founded in 1918, and is the oldest of the three universities in the city, the other two being the University of Turku and the Turku School of Economics.
