Nigerian Vice President & Other Dignitaries to Open 2nd Annual National Project Management Conference in Abuja

His Excellency, The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Arc. Namadi Sambo (pictured below right) is expected to declare open The 2nd Annual National Project Management Conference for Nigeria in September. The conference with the theme "Project Management: The Key to National Development" will be held during 21-22 September 2010 at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city. Other dignitaries expected to attend include The Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole; The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Steve Oronsaye; Minister of National Planning, Dr. Shamsudeen Usman; Minister of Finance, Mr. Olusegun Aganga, under the chairmanship of Chief Oluwole Adeosun, Former minister of Transport; and representatives of other government organizations, including the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The National Project Management Conference is an annual knowledge building and capacity enhancing event that exposes participants in Nigeria to global trends and best practices in the management of projects and programs.
