Registration still open for June IPMA 2007 World Congress on Project Management in Poland
Zurich, Switzerland - May 17, 2007 -- The International Project Management Association (IPMA) announced today that registration remains open for the 21st IPMA World Congress on Project Management, to be held during June 18-21, 2007 in Cracow, Poland. Online registrations will be accepted through May 2007; onsite registrations will be available when the Congress opens in June. The IPMA World Congress is one of the world’s major project management conferences held each year.

Lech Walesa, legendary leader of the Solidarity Trade Union, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate in 1983, and President of Poland during 1990-1995, will be the featured keynote speaker opening the Congress on June 18. Other keynote speakers will include Professor Roland Gareis (Austria), Juergen Schloss, PhD (Germany), Antii Heinonen (Finland), Professor Rodney Turner, PhD (UK), and Professor Peter Morris, PhD (UK).

According to Stanslaw Sroka, World Congress Cracow 2007 Chairman and President of SPMP, “We will have famous and outstanding speakers at the Congress. Already, over 500 project management experts, leaders and professionals from over 50 countries have registered. We expect the 2007 World Congress in Cracow to be extremely successful!”

IPMA’s 21st annual World Congress on Project Management will have the theme “Project Management: Essential Reality for Business and Government”.
