GREENBELT, MD - /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ - February 29, 2008 -- SGT, Inc., a leading provider of Program Management, Science, and Engineering Services, today announced that NASA has awarded SGT, Inc. a contract to provide Program Support to the Constellation Program Office at the Johnson Space Center (JSC).
The Constellation Program Support Contract (CPSC) provides direct support to the Constellation Program Planning and Control (CxPP&C) Office. Under the contract, the SGT Team will provide program planning and control services to support the Constellation Program. The Constellation program is developing new spacecraft to travel beyond low Earth orbit. Specific functions provided under the contract include configuration management, data management, information technology, program schedule management and integration, scheduling assessment, earned value management, and technology protection.

The SGT CPSC Team consists of Prime Contractor SGT, Inc., along with teammates ARES Corporation and MRE Consulting. CPSC is a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with an ordering period of three years with two one-year options. The maximum contract value including options is $100M. Work on the contract will be performed at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston with additional work possible at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. The contract will be managed by Mr. Rick Nygren, SGT Director of Houston Operations.
