New Role Created to Help Companies Better Utilize Minority-Owned, Women-Owned and Small Businesses
HOUSTON , TX - July 1, 2009 -- Guidant Group Inc., a management services and talent acquisition consulting company, today announced that Gabriela Schreiber has been named Supplier Diversity Program Manager. In her new role, Schreiber will help Guidant Group clients to intelligently and successfully utilize minority-owned, women-owned and small businesses in their staffing and hiring programs.
For years, Guidant Group has been dedicated to developing comprehensive, integrated talent acquisition and vendor-neutral managed service provider (MSP) programs for its clients. As more companies have developed goals for working with minority-owned, women-owned and small businesses, Guidant Group has grown its capabilities and relationships with these businesses to effectively match them with the hiring companies.
The Guidant Group Supplier Diversity Program is focused on four key areas: Community Outreach to increase awareness among potential diversity suppliers; Performance Management to effectively vet potential diversity suppliers; Strategic Alignments to partner with diversity suppliers on joint business initiatives; and Mentorships to provide diversity suppliers with learning opportunities pertaining to all areas of business.
In her role, Schreiber will oversee the Supplier Diversity Program, including strategic direction and external communications. She will work closely with Guidant Group's executive leadership to integrate diversity and equity policies into the company's services and practices. Schreiber will also support efforts to pursue community outreach opportunities and establish a mentor-protégé program between Guidant Group and its diversity suppliers to assist in developing and strengthening business relationships.
Prior to Guidant Group, Schreiber spent more than seven years in recruitment process outsourcing. She was a Service Delivery Lead at Accenture HR Services, where she oversaw onshore and offshore recruitment operations, international relocations and employee relations services to clients.
Schreiber received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from DePaul University, Chicago.
