" An old force with new power is rising in business, one that has far reaching implications for most everyone. Nascent for half a century, this force has quietly gained momentum through the last decade; it is now triggering profound changes across the corporate world. Firms that embrace this force and harness its power will thrive. Those who ignore or oppose it will suffer. ... The force is transparency."

From time to time we feature a paper that to our mind is a seminal contribution to the advancement of the project management discipline. In this instance we have, to promote collegial dialogue on the content of the paper, published a particular copy or part of the paper for review and feed back.
We have taken this on line publishing approach because web reading is different from that of hard copy and on line readers are more prone to scan and jump to topics of interest rather than read continuously as they might for hard copy.
In most instances the featured paper has been prepared for hard copy publication. Usually the paper is too long for posting as a web page, the common denominator of the Internet. In this instance we will break up the paper into parts and format them as web pages. This may be published in a series of parts or sub articles over a number of PM World Today Issues.
We will provide these parts of papers a series of web pages to facilitate on line review. This makes reading the paper easier with bit sized bits of information. A print ready copy of the complete part is also provided to assist on line printing for your hard copy file.
An online form is provided for your comments as Letters to the Editor. Here the Letter will be received by the Editor of the PM World Today and passed on to the Author(s) for comment as required by the substance of the Letter. Letters of substance, that is, where an issue with a paper is well founded and articulates a particular view of the issue and represents an opinion of the Author(s) paper will be published to the Letters to the Editor Weblog. This provides an easy access to reader observations that we feel should be drawn to the attention of the PM global demographic.
Some readers like to get to the heart of the matter. Here we will have an on line copy called the QuickTopic version which pemits one to comment directly on the text with pointers to the particular paragraph to make specific comment on the Author's text. One can comment on the text of the article and participate in a round of email discussion letters based on an exclusive list of those who contribute comments or observations on the QuickTopic version.
We look to receive well thought out comment or observations that initiate and sustain a collegial dialogue that will contribute to your job and company conduct of projects and management of organizational program portfolios of projects..
