The PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP at the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna offers project management programmes for graduate as well as post-graduate students. The focus in education and research is on project management, programme management, management of Project-oriented Companies and the Project-oriented Society. The elective programme "Project Management" is part of the studies at the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and offered to 50 students/ year who completed an entry-test.

The University Course "International Project Management" is held in cooperation between the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and University of Technology in Vienna. Students with practical experience in managing projects learn about the latest developments of Project Management in science and practice. So they can transfer their knowledge into project work.
Finnbarents, a joint organization of Rovaniemi Polytechnic and the University of Lapland, offers a range of expert services on northern issues. Its work focuses on the areas falling within the Northern Dimension, providing consultancy, project planning and information services in line with relevant EU policy.
Virtual International Project Management Programme
Rovaniemi Polytechnic (in cooperation with the Finnbarents and HCI Productions Oy) is starting in Spring, 2004 a two-year online course on International Project Management. The course requires two years of part-time study time and is leading to a certicificate of Rovaniemi Polytechnic. The target audience of the course are people already working in the field of international projects.
The online course offers a flexible and economic alternative for professional education. This online course combines theory and practice through cases, exercises and a real tender game. It also enhances group work where participants have to learn to work together over barriers of cultures, time zones and languages.
