The 2nd PMI Panama Project Management Symposium will be held during March 10-12, 2010, in Panama City, Panama.  The Panama Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) will welcome participants from throughout the Americas to this major project management event.  Subtitled “Delivering Measurable Results”, this 2nd version will be bigger in lectures, seminars and expected attendance.

The final program for the event will include:

  1. Two days of lectures with 4 keynote speeches, presentations and discussions on March 10-11 – over 5 areas of focus (Government Projects, Construction, PMO , Leadership and General Concepts);

  2. Two workshops on, March 12 2009, led by Ricky Morris and Enrique Capella, along with 2 full Day Seminars from the PMI CPM on Earned Value Basics (300) and advance (400);

To see the full program plan, with speakers and topics, or to register, visit http://www.pmi-panama.org/simposio2010/.  The symposium will be bilingual with translation available (Spanish or English).  Registration fees are $320, $250 for PMI members, and $120 for students.  Attendees can receive up to 8 PDUs for PMP recertification for each day attended.  The symposium venue will be the Panama Canal Authority Auditorium and facilities.  In addition to the PMI Panama Chapter, local sponsors include CH2M Hill and the Panama Canal Authority.  Participants will have an opportunity to tour the canal and meet the program manager.
