The Case of the Missing "Principles of Project Management" Project?

This PMI® Project was featured some time ago in the PMI Today. Also the PMFORUM PM World Today had a "PMI® Searches For Project Principles" Brief Abstract circa 1999.The Project Management Principles Project was advertised in the PMI Today as...

" The Standards Program Team of the Project Management Institute has promulgated a project to address "the need for a high-level, overarching guidelines for the project management profession through the identification and presentation of project management principles."

The PMI® Project Principles Charter states that the

.." Principles are to address the breadth of project management and derived from and applicable to all knowledge application areas...".

See http://www.pmforum.org/library/cases/case99.htm#PRINCIPLES A check of this address produces a bad link. Accordingly a current check of the PMI Standards web page on the PMI web site at http://www.pmi.org/ failed to discover any mention of the PMI Project Principles Project in the on line listing of PMI Standards Group past or present projects.

Readers who contribute to the discovery of the PMI Principles of Project Management Project will be given a free subscription to the PM World Today !

Readers who have information on this important project should advise the PMFORUM with a Letter to the Editor...

The Concorde Project

Liezl Hohls of Siemens South Africa writes to the PMFORUM...

I'm looking for a case study on the Concord Project. I have looked throught the Case Studies section - which is superb by the way - but I didn't find this particular project. Do you have this at hand, or can you perhaps refer me to someone that may assist ?

Kind Regards,

The PMFORUM Webmaster replied...

Liezl..I have attached a PMFORUM search of the Web for the string "Concorde Project". I took a quick look at some of the sites and I think you will be able to use them for your research on the Concorde Project.
