The On-Line Picasso Project has cataloged the work of the famous Spanish artist Picasso one of the monumental artists of modern times. The Picasso works have been arranged into a timeline of sixteen categories. Underneath each name is a list years covered by an artistic period of Picasso's life. Click on one and you'll get an extensively-annotated timeline for that year.
In addition to the timeline on the front page, there's also links to other material at the top of the page, including a gallery, a list of museums and private holdings with Picasso works, and a bibliography.
This is a change from the regular "project briefs" highlighted in past PM World Today Issues. It has been included in the PMFORUM Project Briefs to illustrate the immense project oriented work and artistic discipline of cataloguing and presentation of the life of Picasso. times.
Take a moment out from the work of project management with a visit to the life of Picasso. We have provided a stress reliever from the search for management skills information with a feast for the spirit. Some material within the timeline links to popup art pages; 1951 for example leads to pictures of "Paloma avec orange", "Fumées à Vallauris", and "Guernica" that spellbinding image of the hell of the Spanish Civil War.
Enjoy.
