Glossary of Earned Value Management Terms

Access to U.S. Defense Department’s EVM glossary added to PM World Library

11 July 2016 – Washington, DC, USA - A new resource has been added to the PM World Library (PMWL) in the Glossaries and Dictionaries section.  The new resource is titled "Glossary of Earned Value Management Terms."

This earned value management glossary is available from the Performance Assessments and Root Cause Analyses (PARCA) Earned Value Management division in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, which serves as the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) focal point for all policy, guidance and competency relating to EVM.  Earned Value Management (EVM) is one of DoD’s and industry’s most powerful program planning and management tools. The purpose of EVM, among other things, is to ensure sound planning and resourcing of all tasks required for contract performance

To access this new resource, go to Glossaries and Dictionaries in the PMWL at https://pmworldlibrary.net/glossaries-and-dictionaries/, click on “Glossaries for Applications, Skills and Support Functions”, and scroll down to find the resource.  Free access, but must be registered and logged in.
