Media Partners

For Major Project Management Events Worldwide

PMForum's Media Partners Program helps project management professional associations, universities and other organizations develop or promote major project management events.  Events can include conferences, congresses, forums, seminars and workshops, for global, regional or local stakeholders.

Objectives for the program are to provide PM organizations with (a) access to globally experienced project management experts for planning major events; (b)  access to globally-recognized speakers and presenters; (c) international marketing and promotional support; (d) global visibility; and (e) a vehicle for publishing papers or other results of the event.

Event Media Partners:

The most common Media Partnerships are to assist with the promotion and visibility of an event that is being organized and planned on a local basis but for which organizers want to attract more non-local participants.

Media Partner receives:

  1. Listing as a Media Partner on PMForum.org websites;
  2. Listing of event on PMForum’s Event Calendar, with event banner or logo, with link to event website – see http://www.pmforum.org/events/index.htm
  3. Breaking news articles produced by PMForum and posted on www.pmforum.org
  4. Publication of press releases on www.pmforum.org
  5. Listing as a Media Partner, with Media Partner page at http://www.pmforum.org/events/partner_program.htm where archive of breaking news articles about the event will be maintained.
  6. Live coverage from the event (if desired – additional requirements may apply)
  7. Other benefits (as agreed)

Media Partner provides to PMForum:

  1. Identification of PMForum as a Media Partner on the event website or organization’s website, with a link to www.pmforum.org
  2. Emails of major news and announcements about the event, which can be used for creation of breaking news or marketing information
  3. Event banner and and/or logo to be posted on PMForum’s websites.
  4. Two free passes to the event, so PMForum representatives can attend and report about the event (if available and pre-arranged)
  5. Payment, if additional marketing is desired – i.e. banner advertising, etc.

Event Production Partners:

PMForum is prepared to assist with the organizing and production of major project management events, normally on cost sharing and revenue sharing basis.  Local organizations provide administration and local marketing; PMForum provides planning, marketing and publication support.  PMForum can also arrange speakers.  All of the above benefits and requirements also apply.

Media Partners for Commercial PM Events

Some or all of the above benefits are also available to commercial organizations if they agree to provide PMForum subscribers and members with discounted pricing for attendance.
