Program Management Academy

The Program Management Academy was created to help companies, organizations, and individuals better understand the principles of program management and to improve their program management practices.

The need for information on program management as a product, service, or infrastructure capability development model is more critical now then ever before.  Today, products, services, and infrastructure capabilities are designed to meet increasing complexity demands of the customer, developed by a global workforce, manufactured by offshore partners, marketed through a myriad of media in a dozen languages, and must be immediately evolved to include the latest innovations.  The requirement to effectively and efficiently manage in this complex environment and deliver intended business results is the reason why program management practices are as relevant today as they were 50 years ago when created.

The primary goals of the Program Management Academy are:  (1) To increase the awareness of program management as a critical business function; (2) To provide training, coaching, and consultation for individuals, teams and organizations practicing program management; and (3) To perform research and continued publication to further evolve program and business management practices worldwide.
