Organizational Project Management Maturity Models

A list of existing organizational project management maturity models. This list is a snapshot of the various ways in which the project management process and levels of degree of competency of an organization's practice of project management.

Why are these so called maturity models important ? There is a growing significance for the such maturity models as a measure of organizational competency and are being used increasingly by industry and governments in requests for proposals and business development. If you are in the project management business and particularly the Information Technology business you will be faced with examining your organization and project proposals in the light of one or more of these "maturity model" standards.

The Programme Management Maturity Model (PMMM)
